|
Tim is a PhD student in the Department of Earth Sciences at Oxford University, where he works on historic and prehistoric earthquakes in northern China. He has also worked with the organisation Geology for Global Development, which aims to encourage young geoscientists to use their knowledge of the Earth to help fight poverty and improve lives. For the last three years he has been the student representative on the Christians in Science committee and he is a co-author of their leaflet Being a Christian in Earth Sciences. He is also an Associate of the Faraday Institute for Science and Religion. In his ‘spare’ time he reads about Christian ethics and doctrine.
